| Tenerife's territory, with the Teide as its
imposing central reference and the sea as its ever present background, has its landscape
and microclimate diversity wealth as its most significant characteristic which from
ancient times, has made it to be considered a "miniature continent". It has been
the result of the spectacular encounter of some natural geographical contours, climate and
very uncommon flora, and of the difficult human occupation of the territory. |

| Tenerife is anchored in the Atlantic Ocean,
between the 28º and 29º North parallels and the 16º and 17º West meridians. Its
surface area of 2,036 km2, makes it the largest island of the Archipelago, as well as that
with the longest perimetral coast (358 kms). It is in the middle of Gran Canaria, La
Gomera and La Palma. |

The Teide , the highest peak
in Spain , is like a sombre watch tower that rises out of the Canarys Archipelago . Its
peak reaches a height of 3.715 mts.above sea level and the spectacle that it offers from
this height is grandiose and fascinating. Thanks to the Cableway that makes this
accessable in only a few minutes , the panorama gradually changes its perspective
producing during the ascent a startling series of views.Once at the summit a surprising
viewing place offers itself to the visitor from which vantage point the beuties of an
endless panorama can be admired , and at a short distance on clear days our gaze takes in
the whole Archipelago of this Happy Islands. |

 On
the south-east of one of these islands, Tenerife, you will find Playa de Las
Americas and Los Cristianos, an ideal place for pleasure,
amusement, nautical sports, fishing, good food, history, art... A place full of
incomparable sensations that emerge from the source of the coast to reach the highest and
greenest summits.
Access to Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos is easy and comfortable from whichever of the big communication
resources of Tenerife. It is situated only ten minutes from the Reina Sofía
international airport. Its privileged position on the island makes it an
ideal place to visit the whole of Tenerife. Playa de Las Americas and Los
Cristianos are the most important tourist zone on the island, and has all the
services that the most demanding visitor could ask for, all held in a natural framework of
special attractive and generous climate. |
